Abstract

Avaluem la GIEC i l’OIEC, partint del fet que la codificació del català és una política pública que ha de ser transparent i des de la planificació lingüística de corpus i la gramatografia. Hi ha un comentari sobre la seva repercussió en el DIEC2 i suggeriments per millorar totes tres obres.
We evaluate the Institut d’Estudis Catalans new Catalan grammar and spelling rules, on the assumption that codification of Catalan is a matter of public policy which must be transparent and from the standing points of language corpus planning and grammatography. We also assess their implications for the Institut’s dictionary in its latest version and make some suggestions for improving all three works.
