Devenir Pentesilea, o el periplo de las heroínas diurnas en el cine

Abstract

Este trabajo plantea un nuevo punto de partida para el heroísmo femenino contemporáneo. Siendo el mito de Pentesilea, gran reina amazona, su imagen capital. Será justamente el derrumbe del poder femenino el que nos auxiliará en la búsqueda de nuevos desvíos arquetípicos. En estas páginas hay un constante intento de hacer visible una lejanía que trasciende las imágenes, a partir de la mitología y del imaginario. Un rastreo de un momento del pasado para entender el presente. Sobre todo, ésta es una investigación centrada en el cine y en sus respectivas configuraciones contemporáneas de un heroísmo ascensional femenino.
