Negativos de guerra. El melodrama español de la autarquía (1939-1959)

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo establecer un recorrido sobre la no- representación de la guerra civil en el melodrama español de la autarquía. Es

decir, de qué modo el acontecimiento se inscribe en el texto al quedar prohibido representarlo explícitamente. En constante diálogo con otras artes, trataremos de rastrear las huellas de ese fantasma ampliando el campo de búsqueda a la naturaleza de los espacios residuales. A través de un análisis figural y discursivo encontraremos cómo en sus aspectos más discretos, el cine puede convertirse en un espacio de resistencia política y estética.This study proposes a journey through the non-representation of the civil war in the autarky Spanish melodrama. That is, how the event is inscribed in cinema when it is prohibited from being explicitly represented. In a constant dialogue with other arts, we will attempt to trace the signs of this phantom by expanding the field of research to the nature of residual spaces. Through figural and discursive analysis, we will find how in its most discreet aspects, cinema can become an act of political and aesthetic resistance.
