Dragtivism, género y activismo LGTBQ+

Abstract

Este proyecto se propone entender las bases del arte drag mediante el estudio de diferentes conceptos que lo componen, principalmente la expresión del género. Para ello, estudiamos a diferentes autores/as que tratan el género y su performatividad en las Teorías Queer, centrándonos principalmente en Judith Butler, Paul B. Preciado y Jay Prosser. Esta base teórica sobre el estudio del género y las Teorías Queer, la hemos aplicado a un caso práctico. Éste ha consistido en realizar un plan de comunicación para la asociación Dragtivism, la cual potencia le drag inclusivo.The aim of this project is to acknowledge the fundamentals of drag through concepts such as gender expression. To achieve our goal, we studied different authors who defined gender and its performativity in Queer Theories. The main authors were Judith Butler, Paul B. Preciado and Jay Prosser. We have applied this theoretical basis on the studies of gender and Queer Theories to a practical case. This has consisted of making a communication plan for Dragtivism, an Association which empowers inclusive drag.
