Abstract

This project investigates the genetic and molecular factors influencing collateral circulation in ischemic stroke. Through comprehensive omics analyses, including Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS), Transcriptome-Wide Association Study (TWAS), and Phenome-Wide Association Study (PWAS), significant single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and genes associated with stroke outcomes are identified. Clinical variables such as age and post-stroke measures are correlated with collateral circulation quality. The study sheds light on the complex genetic contributions to stroke and provides potential targets for therapeutic intervention.
