El principio de angustia y las edades del hombre

Abstract

El principio de angustia (Angtsprinzip) alude a la angustia del inicio, del principio, como aquélla que determina las diferentes «edades del hombre» (nacimiento, infancia, juventud, madurez, vejez, muerte) tal como las ha ido definiendo la tradición occidental. La comprensión de la angustia, afecto psicosomático, no como angustia de muerte sino como angustia de inicio, que se manifiesta por igual en la libertad, la sexualidad y también en la muerte, nos permitirá esbozar una nueva formulación del principio esperanza.

The principle of anguish (Angtsprinzip) refers to the anguish of the beginning, as the one that determines all the phases of the «ages of man» (birth, childhood, youth, maturity, old age, death) as tradition has defined them in Western.
