Abstract

After having become the world's leading trader and the second largest/neconomy, China is now promoting a 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road to boost cooperation,/ndevelopment and peacekeeping. The aim of this paper is to analyze how can this project/ninfluence a fast growing region like Southeast Asia from different angles - economic,/ninfrastructures or integration, - as well China's role in international organizations. Addressing/nthis issue can help filling a lack of literature gap due to Beijing's project early stage.
