Procediments i eines per el pas a una seguretat proactiva

Abstract

Aquest projecte presenta millores a partir d’un model de servei de seguretat gestionada per a clients amb firewalls Fortinet. El que pretén el nou model és donar-nos informació detallada de tot el que passa a la xarxa per tal d'anticipar-nos a possibles problemes i millorar tots els serveis que s'executen a través d'un firewall d'una xarxa o infraestructura. Per fer això possible s’ha implantat, en una xarxa de serveis privada al cloud, una eina de gestió d’events i informació de seguretat per recollir logs i fer reporting; un eina de monitorització que constantment ens estigui informant sobre valors crítics dels firewalls i s’ha confeccionat una guia detallada d'actuacions i millores per oferir un servei que asseguri l’estabilitat a tota una infraestructura.The aim of this project is to improve a known model by means of offering managed security for customer’s infrastructures with Fortinet firewalls. What the new model pretends to is to give us detailed information about what happens on the networks. Thus, we could anticipate to possible problems and improve and guarantee all the services that are executed through the firewalls in our infrastructure. We have reached this aim after implanting in an own private cloud network service, a security information and event management tool that collects all the events of traffic on the network to do reporting; a monitoring system that is constantly alerting us about critical parameters of the firewalls; and finally we have performed a guide to follow some recommendations to assure stability in our infrastructure.
