Xarxes convergents: convergència entre arquitectures de fibra òptica i radio

Abstract

Aquest Treball de Fi de grau té com a objectiu demostrar els avantatges de desplegar infraestructures d'accés convergent, que combinin accés fix i serveis mòbils, mitjançant estudis de tràfic i simulacions. Es pretén, analitzant detingudament els requeriments de transmissió presents i futurs, estudiant la seva tendència i el comportament dels usuaris, de cara a proposar una arquitectura que suporti aquests serveis de manera sòlida./nAixí, a partir d'aquest anàlisis i un cop analitzades les solucions que actualment estan desplegant el grans operadors per fer front a aquest repte, es farà una proposta d'arquitectura per aconseguir una major eficiència, tant a nivell de prestacions com de costos. Aquesta solució es validarà mitjançant simulacions per tal de demostrar la seva viabilitat tècnica i es realitzarà també un estudi tecno-econòmic per veure els costos involucrats, tant de desplegament com d'operació./nFinalment, es vol presentar un full de ruta per tal d'evolucionar les infraestructures de telecomunicació existents des d’un punt de vista racional i sostenible, per tal de fer-les energèticament sostenibles i que puguin ser administrades de la manera més eficient possible.This work aims to demonstrate the benefits of deploy ing convergen access infrastructures combining fixed and mobile access, through the use of traffic studies and simulations. The objective is to achieve a solid architecture that supports these services in a robust manner, carefully analysing the requirements of present and future transmission requirements and studying the trends and behaviors of the end users. From this analysis of requirements and trends, and after a full study of the current solutions offered from big operators to deal with this challenge, a proposed new architecture to achieve greater efficiency, both in terms of performance and costs will/nbe presented. This solution will be validated using simulations to demonstrate the technical feasibility and will include a study of the techno-economic costs involved, in both deployment and operation./nFinally, a roadmap will be presented in order to evolve the existing telecommunication infrastructures from a rational and sustainable point of view, making them energy-sustainable and managed in the most efficient possible way.
