- dc.description.abstract Are all neurons responding to a visual stimulus involved in its perception? Are these same neurons also activated during a decision-making task that is based on this stimulus? Relying on recordings of the activity of middle temporal (MT) neurons in a macaque monkey trained to perform a fine discrimination task, we analyze and model the neuronal data to compare the responses of different neurons to the monkey's decision choices.ca
