Singing voice synthesis combining excitation plus resonance and sinusoidal plus residual models. In: Proceedings of the 2001 International Computer Music Conference, ICMC; 2001 Sep 17-22; Havana, Cuba. [Michigan]: Michigan Publishing; 2001.2223-3881http://hdl.handle.net/10230/33973This paper presents an approach to the modeling of the singing voice with a particular emphasis on the naturalness of the resulting synthetic voice. The underlying analysis/synthesis technique is based on the Spectral Modeling Synthesis (SMS) and a newly developed Excitation plus Resonance (EpR) model. With this approach a complete singing voice synthesizer is developed that generates a vocal melody out of the score and the phonetic transcription of a song.application/pdfengThis work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 3.0 LicenseSinging voice synthesis combining excitation plus resonance and sinusoidal plus residual modelsinfo:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObjectinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
