- dc.description.abstract In this article I give a personal view on what could be a roadmap for the research in Music Technology. I will describe the context of this research, the current state of the art, the challenges that lie ahead and I will conclude with some strategies to face those challenges. Given that to write a roadmap for a given discipline is a very challenging task that can only be the result of wide discussion within its research community with this article my only goal is to help start that discussion.
