- dc.description.abstract This paper analyses the principal legal challenges posed by the current Banking Union apparatus. It focuses on the legal basis for Banking Union, the powers of the various agencies and regulators and the problems that arise from their interaction, and the difficult relationship between Euro-area and the internal market. It outlines legislative changes to address the problems of the SSM framework.ca
