Adolescents' perception on violent video games

    This research tackles a recent increasing phenomenon: the video games as cultural objects consumed by almost half of the population in Spain and around. The open debate around this issue considers video games and players from different points of view. Nevertheless, the aim of this research is to study the perception that adolescents have, considering their gender and social class, in order to analyze the differences in their access, consumption, and preferences on video games; thus as the role of their identity and the perception they have of the virtual violence through their opinions and considerations, taking part in the phenomenon to gererate and understand own results.
