Abstract

The aim of this research work is to design a business model and elaborate a prototype for improving the use and enjoyment of homes at an affordable price. At present, advanced home automation, which gives us great confort, is associated with high prices. With the advances in technologies it is possible to reduce them and make home automation an accessible technology. Alfred is a home automation system that makes use of an application and a web, capable of controlling a home even from distance. It not only works under user commands, but also incorporates automation elements. As well, it is environmentally aware, capable of locating outbreaks of excessive consumption, facilitating cost savings.
