• dc.description.abstract En este trabajo de fin de posgrado se desarrolla una propuesta de análisis y traducción al español de «May’s Lion» y «Sleepwalkers», dos cuentos de Ursula K. Le Guin inéditos en el ámbito hispanohablante. Para dar forma a dicha propuesta, se utiliza un enfoque orientado a la construcción de los textos narrativos, que permite estudiar algunos de los aspectos más relevantes de los relatos seleccionados: las técnicas narrativas empleadas (mise en abyme, monólogo interior y focalización interna variable) y características textuales como la ficcionalidad o la transtextualidad. Además de reivindicar la obra de la autora, con este trabajo se pretende subrayar la importancia de atender a la configuración de un texto literario antes de abordar su traducción.ca
• dc.description.abstract This postgraduate thesis develops a proposal for the analysis and translation into Spanish of “May's Lion” and “Sleepwalkers”, two short stories by Ursula K. Le Guin that remain unpublished in the Spanish-speaking world. The proposal has been shaped using an approach oriented to the construction of narrative texts, which allows studying some of the most relevant aspects of the stories selected: the narrative techniques applied (mise en abyme, interior monologue and variable internal focalization) and textual characteristics such as fictionality and transtextuality. In addition to vindicating the author’s work, this thesis aims to highlight the importance of paying attention to the configuration of a literary work before approaching its translation.en
