La recepción de la literatura hispanoamericana en China: traducción y difusión

Abstract

La literatura hispanoamericana traducida al chino ha ocupado una posición relativamente céntrica durante largo tiempo en el polisistema cultural del país receptor, proporcionando recursos nuevos y provocando el surgimiento de una literatura en búsqueda de las raíces y contribuyendo también a la vanguardia literaria en China. La traducción y la difusión de la literatura hispanoamericana en China, por lo tanto, se ha convertido en un objeto digno de estudio. En la presente tesis procedemos, por un lado, a examinar la motivación del fenómeno analizando los cambios clave en el campo cultural chino durante los años ochenta; por otro lado, intentamos examinar la incidencia y reescrituras del boom en China. En último lugar, comparamos la recepción de Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa y Julio Cortázar en China, con el fin de entender los elementos literarios y extraliterarios que afectan la difusión de un escritor extranjero en el país asiático.Spanish-American literature translated into Chinese has occupied a relatively central position in the cultural polysystem in China, providing new resources and inspiring a whole generation of Chinese writers, who invented the Root-seeking literature and avant-garde literature in China. The translation and diffusion of Spanish-American literature in China, therefore, has become an object worthy of study. In this thesis, on the one hand, we proceed to examine the motivation of the phenomenon by analyzing the key changes taking part in the Chinese cultural field in 1980s; on the other hand, we try to examine incidence and rewrites of the boom in China. In the last place, we compare the reception of Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa and Julio Cortázar in China, to understand the literary and extra-literary elements that affect the diffusion of a foreign writer in the Asian country.Programa de doctorat en Humanitats
