Las redes culturales en la Gran Guerra: Miguel de Unamuno y el hispanismo francés

Abstract

RESUMEN Nuestro trabajo parte de un exhaustivo análisis del epistolario que Miguel de Unamuno compartió con los principales agentes culturales de la propaganda aliada en Francia, entre quienes se encuentran Maurice Legendre, Jacques Chevalier, Pierre Paris, Pierre Imbart de la Tour, Georges Radet o Charles Béguin. Partiendo del reciente giro cultural en los estudios historiográficos, se analizarán las bases, tanto ideológicas como culturales, que fundamentan esta red cultural, así como las acciones propagandísticas en las que se vieron involucradas. El estudio de la correspondencia se completará con la lectura del profuso ensayo periodístico unamuniano. Dentro de esta tupida red de voces y discursos, Henri Bergson ocupará un puesto central. ABSTRACT Our study begins from a thorough analysis of the correspondence between Miguel de Unamuno and the main figures of the pro-allied propaganda, such as Maurice Legendre, Jacques Chevalier, Pierre Paris, Pierre Imbart de la Tour, Georges Radet o Charles Béguin. Our investigation of the correspondence between Unamuno and the French Hispanists, together with the study of his many journalistic essays, will allow us to thoroughly analyze the ideological and cultural bases and propaganda actions in which they were involved.
