La problemàtica de la viabilitat empresarial: El cas de Juncà Gelatines S.L.

Abstract

Aquest treball té l’objectiu d’analitzar els trets que expliquen l’èxit d’una empresa però també els expliquen el fracàs. El mètode utilitzat és el del cas de recerca. Aquest és un mètode que permet aprofundir al màxim l’objecte d’estudi. L’empresa en qüestió és Juncà Gelatines, una empresa dedicada a la producció de gelatines i hidrolitzat. L’estudi permet analitzar l’empresa al llarg de diverses etapes: els inicis de la petita empresa familiar, l’expansió, la crisi financera i la superació de la crisi. Avui l’empresa és molt competitiva i consolidada a nivell internacional. Entre els factors que expliquen que l’empresa arribés a la situació de concurs de creditors hi ha l’excés de deutes a curt termini i la crisi econòmica que va afectar negativament a les vendes i als marges de benefici. Entre els factors que expliquen la posterior recuperació i l’èxit de l’empresa estan l’aposta per les persones, la R+D, la internacionalització i la capitalització financera.This project analyses the main aspects that explain both the success and the failures of a company. The method we are using is the case study. This is a method that allows us to deepen the study of the issue under consideration. The company chosen is Juncà Gelatines, which manufactures gelatines and hydrolysed. This project analyses the company at the various stages: how the company was created, the business expansion, and the overcoming of the financial crisis. Nowadays, the company is very competitive and consolidated around the world. Amongst others, some of the factors that explain why did the company enter into an insolvency procedure are the excess of short-term debts and the economical crisis that affected negatively at the revenues and the profit margin. The factors that explain the subsequent overcoming and the success of the company are the commitment to employees, R+D, internationalization and financial capitalization.
