Catástrofe íntima: o apocalipse como desconstrução do indivíduo

Abstract

Con este trabajo de investigación propongo analizar la/nmanifestación del apocalipsis como fenómeno íntimo, teniendo como base dos/npelículas que destacan por la representación del tema en el cine/ncontemporáneo: Melancolía (Lars von Trier, 2011) y Take Shelter (Jeff Nichols,/n2011). Este estudio comprende la catástrofe como reflejo del colapso interior/ndel individuo y se centra en el límite entre el universo simbólico de los/npersonajes y la realidad objetiva. Con el objetivo de llegar al centro del/napocalipsis como deconstrucción del sujeto, examinaremos las tensiones entre/nespacios internos y externos que se configuran en las películas ya/nmencionadas

The purpose of this investigation is to analyze how the apocalypse/nmanifests itself as an intimate phenomenon, considering two examples of contemporary cinema on the subject: Melancholia (Lars von Trier, 2011) and Take Shelter (Jeff Nichols, 2011). The study comprehends catastrophe as a/nreflection of the individual's internal collapse and focuses on the limits between/nthe character's symbolic universe and objective reality. To get to the bottom of/nthe apocalypse as the deconstruction of the individual, we will examine the/ntensions between the internal and external spaces structured in the movies.
