Cuando la filología se hace ensayo

Abstract

RESUMEN El objetivo de este artículo es trazar un panorama de la trayectoria del ensayo filológico en España desde sus inicios hasta nuestros días (desde Ramón Menéndez Pidal hasta Jordi Amat). En primer lugar, se establece un breve marco con las condiciones por las que un texto académico puede convertirse en ensayo. Y en segundo, se despliegan las diferentes etapas del proceso, donde se incluyen los nombres y libros más significativos que han servido de modelos para el ensayo filológico. ABSTRACT The aim of this article is to outline the trajectory of the Philological Essay in Spain from its beginnings to the present day (from Ramón Menéndez Pidal to Jordi Amat). First, a brief framework is established with the conditions by which an academic text can become an essay. And secondly, the different stages of the process are deployed, including the most significant names and books that have served as models for the philological essay.
