Data were collected through a closed-ended, anonymous online survey in 2018. 468 respondents completed the survey, which included sociodemographic questions, perceptions of respondents' health status, and their primary health-care experiences. Both LGBT and non-LGBT groups were analyzed, comparing differences and similarities by using univariant analysis and contingency tables. Our results indicate that the primary health-care needs of LGBT people in Catalonia include specific requirements that are not currently being addressed.application/pdfeng© This is an Accepted Manuscript of an article published by Taylor & Francis in Sexual and Gender Diversity in Social Services on 2023 Sep 12, available online: http://www.tandfonline.com/10.1080/10538720.2023.2253772.Comparing experiences and perceptions of primary health care among LGBT and non-LGBT people: Key findings from Cataloniainfo:eu-repo/semantics/article2024-07-11http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/10538720.2023.2253772Health systemLGBTPrimary health carePublic healthinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
