This chapter explores five key strategies to improve repository visibility: optimizing metadata quality, enabling interoperability protocols, adopting persistent identifiers (PIDs), implementing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, and embracing generative engine optimization (GEO). Through detailed analysis and practical recommendations, this work highlights how standardized metadata, controlled vocabularies, and persistent identifiers, such as DOI, Handle, and ARK, contribute to enhancing visibility.
