Además, el ensayo intenta examinar si este contexto permite la creación de nuevos significados para el motivo de “la carretera” al presentarse en televisión. A través de series como Twin Peaks, Maniac, Breaking Bad o Fargo, caminaremos, por lo tanto, un sendero en el cual examinaremos los nuevos significados que este elemento ofrece en una narrativa de características particulares que lleva a la resignifcación de un motivo ancestral del cine.Understanding “the road” as an important visual and iconographic element in cinema, this essay seeks to explore its meanings within the context of contemporary TV series. Furthermore, it intends to examine if this context can create new meanings for “the road” and how this element works differently when explored in TV.
