Curs 2016-2017Què és un autor? és un projecte audiovisual que té com a text seminal la conferència homònima que M. Foucault va impartir el 1969 a la Societat Francesa de Filosofia. La seva voluntat, però, no és la de reprendre les reflexions de l’assaig del francès, sinó la de posar-lo frec a frec amb d’altres elements i estructures que el converteixin en un objecte d’estudi des d’on produir nous significats. La tensió apareix en el moment en el que traslladem la teoria en un marc afectiu, en un cos i en una pràctica. En aquest cas, La desaparició del subjecte autor a què Foucault es referia és aquí la del pare malalt que ha perdut l'autoritat.“Què És un Autor?” [What Is an Author?] is an audiovisual project that is modelled on the conference that M. Foucault gave in 1969 to the French Society of Philosophy. Despite this fact, the aim of the project is not to rethink the Foucaultian concerns, but to connect it with other elements and structures that turns it into a subject matter from which new meanings can be produced. When transferring this theory into a practical exercise, the inherent tension on this gesture emerges, as the frame we are moving in now has to do with affect and embodied practices.
