Curs 2016-2017​Este ensayo se propone analizar la película La piel que habito (2011) desde la noción de ars amandi presente en toda la literatura de Ovidio y especialmente en el mito de Pigmalión, tal y como señala el teórico Victor Stoichita. Pese a que el film y el mito han sido relacionados en varias ocasiones, el objeto de este texto es comprobar hasta qué punto se producen estas conexiones, y si la noción de ars amandi es tan central en la relectura de Almodóvar como lo era en la poesía de Ovidio. Por otra parte, este ensayo también indaga en la relación de dominación-resistencia entre el Dr. Ledgard y Vicente/Vera, leyéndola a través de la teoría de construcción de género de Judith Butler.​This essay studies the film The Skin I Live In (2011) using the notion of ars amandi, existent through all Ovid’s literature and especially in Pygmalion’s myth, as revealed by Victor Stoichita. Despite this particular film and the myth have often been related, the goal of this essay is to determine how far these connections go, and whether or not the concept of ars amandi is as capital in Almodovar’s reading of the myth as it is in Ovid’s poetry.
