Abstract

The pharmaceutical sector, a complex, controlled and regulated field, acquires a crucial role in all health systems, being the first sector of the national Gross Domestic Product. This work aims to allow understanding the enormous legislative and regulatory scope regarding public health, that is, a legal right of public interest protected legally and constitutionally. On the current health crisis, the aim is to analyse the pharmaceutical sector, so present in our daily lives because it contributes to our well-being, and so dependent on investment in Research + Development + Innovation, public-private collaboration, science, research and development.
