The MERE Conference has become an annual tradition, showcasing the

Building upon the success of previous conferences, the MERE 2022
edition continues to embrace the spirit of inquiry and critical thinking,
fostering a vibrant environment for scientific exploration and scholarly discourse.
In line with our commitment to the advancement of scientific practice, the
MERE conference in 2022 is shaped by the outcomes of the “Meta Research
Project,” an integrative assessment that examines how to conduct research
on research. By adopting an empirical perspective, students have formula-
ted short research projects, rigorously working on data collection, analysis,
and paper writing, and finally submitting their work to the MERE conference.
A total of 20 manuscripts were submitted and defended during the
MERE conference. This proceedings book presents a selection of the
papers that have successfully completed the evaluation process. We would
like to express our sincere gratitude to each of the students enrolled in the
Research Methods course and participating in the MERE
Conference. Your passion for research contributes to the collective
knowledge and growth of our academic community. May the MERE conference
serve as a catalyst for further exploration, encouraging you to push the boundaries of knowledge and make meaningful contributions to our respective fields.
