El principal objetivo de esta tesis es desarrollar una explicación acerca de la influencia del movimiento 15M en la agenda mediática española. Por un lado, se describe el proceso comunicativo entre dos comunidades: activistas y periodistas. Por otro lado se analizan los mensajes de la tuiteresfera publicados entre mayo y junio de 2011 por los usuarios de Twitter del movimiento y de los legacy media. El movimiento 15M destaca por el excepcional impacto que tuvo en la opinión pública de la sociedad española y por el uso de los social media como herramientas de organización y convocatoria masiva. Este caso de estudio paradigmático pretende arrojar luz sobre el modelo de la Network Agenda Setting, aplicado a Twitter, para establecer la forma cómo se construyen y se correlacionan las agendas entre comunidades del 15M y de los medios de comunicación.

This paradigmatic case study aims to shed light on the Network Agenda Setting model, applied to Twitter. The goal is to clarify how agendas are constructed and correlated between 15M communities and mass media.
