Proposta formativa per a professionals d'infermeria en neonatologia de com educar els familiars sobre el mètode cangur

Abstract

Introducció: En aquest treball es parla del mètode mare cangur , un mètode que forma part de les cures centrades en el desenvolupament que s’apliquen als recent nascuts prematurs. Les quals centren la seva atenció, entre d’altres, en la implicació familiar. És aquí on els professionals d’infermeria tenen un paper important, es vol promoure aquest rol, en la fomentació i educació del mètode cangur./nObjectius: Objectiu general, crear una proposta formativa per als professionals d’infermeria de neonatologia, de l’hospital de Mataró, sobre com educar als pares respecte el mètode cangur. Objectius específics: Formar professionals d’infermeria del MMC, en la unitat de neonatologia de l’Hospital de Mataró, donar habilitats comunicatives als professionals d’infermeria de la unitat de neonatologia de l’Hospital de Mataró i elaborar un tríptic informatiu del MMC per als pares dels nadons prematurs./nMètode: Per dur a terme els objectius plantejats s’ha creat una proposta formativa que consta d’una sessió de 5h dividida en dos bloc. El primer bloc on es fa una pluja d’idees sobre el MMC i posteriorment una explicació teòrica que inclou els punts següents: CCD, definició MMC, beneficis, com es realitza i requisits necessaris. El segon bloc es parla de l’educació sanitària i la comunicació, on es plantegen diferents situacions de rol-playing conjuntament amb explicacions teòriques de com realitzar una bona entrevista educativa. Per avaluar la proposta formativa s’han creat dues enquestes una per a professionals i l’altre per als pares dels RN./nConclusions: Importància del paper d’infermeria en la realització i seguiment del MMC i la necessitat d’estar formats respecte els coneixements teòrics del MMC i de com transmetre aquesta informació als pares.

Introduction: In this project we talk about the kangaroo method. This method is part of the development cares applied to premature newborns. It focuses, among other, on the implication of the family. In these cases nurses have an important role to motivate and provide education to the parents about the kangaroo method Objectives: The general objective is to create a training proposal for neonatal nurses in the Hospital of Mataró about how to educate parents regarding the kangaroo method (KM). The specific objectives are training nurses of KM in the neonatal unit at the Hospital of Mataró, providing communication skills to nursing professionals in the neonatal unit at the Hospital of Mataró and producing a factsheet for parents of kangaroo method of premature infants. Method: In order to achieve the objectives, we have created a training proposal consisting in a session of 5 hours divided in 2 blocks. The first block is a brainstorm about the KM and then an explanation that includes: developmental care in newborns, KM definition, benefits, how to perform KM and requirements. In the second part we talk about health education and communication, where some situations of role-playing with theoretical explanations of how to make a good education interview are suggested. To evaluate this proposal training, we created two surveys, one for the nurses and the other for the newborns’ parents. Conclusions: The important role of nurses in the implementation and monitoring of the kangaroo method and the need to be trained with theoretical knowledge about KM and how to transmit this information to the parents.
