El present treball és una anàlisi centrada en la part de les ‘Justificacions’ de l’obra Le deuxième sexe de Simone de Beauvoir. Considerat com el gran text feminista de la segona meitat del segle XX, s’introdueix la noció de “gènere” amb la seva cèlebre frase «On ne naît pas femme on le devient». D’aquesta idea de la construcció social i cultural de la dona i del seu cos –on també hi ha lloc per l’explicació biologista tot i que l’autora la rebutja com a raó única o fonamental-, s’explica com la situació de les dones les ha portat a caure en la immanència o el que l’existencialisme ha anomenat com la “mala fe”. Així doncs, les tres justificacions del llibre se centren en ‘La narcisista’, ‘L’enamorada’ i ‘La mística’, tres actituds autèntiques des de les quals es defuig de la conquesta de la llibertat. Segons Beauvoir, el camí cap a l’alliberament de les dones és la construcció d’un món fraternal que trenqui amb l’opressió i amb la imposició patriarcal de l’alteritat de les dones.

This work is focused on the analysis of the 'Justifications' of Le deuxième sexe written by Simone de Beauvoir. Considered the great feminist text of the second half of the twentieth century, it introduced the notion of "gender" with its famous phrase «On ne naît pas femme on le devient». This idea of a social and cultural construction of the womanhood and her body -in which there is consideration for the biological explanation although the author rejects as the main or fundamental reason- explains how women’s situation leaded them to fall into immanence or what existentialism has called as the "bad faith". Thus, the three justifications focus on ‘The narcissist’, ‘The woman in love’ and ‘The mystic’, three in authentic attitudes from which the conquest of freedom is denied. According to Beauvoir, the way to women’s liberation is the construction of a fraternal world which would break with oppression and the patriarchal imposition of women’s otherness.
