It is a repository of digital documents and its function is to collect, preserve and disseminate the intellectual production created at the UPF.

A repository is a tool (software and a server) that allows us to store and maintain digital objects (text documents, audiovisuals, images, music, etc.) and make them accessible through the web. It incorporates indexing and content description tools (metadata) and makes it easier the access to the contents from many other websites.

The e-Repository includes journals, theses, working papers, articles, presentations at conferences, seminars and congresses, teaching material, and reports on teaching, among other literature produced by the teaching and research staff of the UPF, and also institutional publications (annual reports, briefs, speeches, lectures, etc.).

• To contribute to increase the impact of the research done at the UPF, giving greater exposure to researchers.
• To preserve the intellectual memory of the UPF.
• To contribute to initiatives for open access scientific communication.
• To add value to documents through standardized citations, viewing statistics, permanent addresses and preservation mechanisms.
• To complement UPF’s Scientific Production Portal (SPP)

Its content is organised in communities and collections according to the typology, origin and the object of the documents:

• Docència
  Teaching material and reports on teaching produced by the faculty and staff members of the UPF. These materials are also available at MDX (Materials Docents en Xarxa – CBUC cooperative repository).


• Recerca: articles, congressos, llibres
  UPF research documents, in open access mode, such as journal articles, books, papers, conference posters and presentations, etc.


• Recerca: tesis
  Doctoral theses presented at the UPF, in open access digital format. The theses are also available at TDX (Tesis Doctorals en Xarxa).


• Recerca: working papers, PFC, etc.
  Open access UPF research documents, such as working papers, research reports, preprints, communications at congresses, dissertations, technical reports, etc. Documents also available at RECERCAT.
  


• Recursos i dades primàries
  The primary data of the research and its analysis and exploitation tools.
  


• Revistes científiques
  Open access consultation of full-text articles published by UPF or with his collaboration in scientific journals. Journals also available at RACO.
  


• Continguts institucionals
  Institutional and administrative documentation that has been considered relevant to be issued by the UPF, such as annual reports, briefs, speeches, lectures, etc.
  


• Vida universitària
  Documents and audiovisual materials as the result of social and participative activities of UPF students (student magazines, social events and activities, etc.).

Documents can be retrieved by searching in the simple dialog box or using the advanced search functions, by the navigation structure of communities and collections and also searching by the main access points of the documents in alphabetical order.

This project is co-ordinated by the UPF Library. If you would like to deposit a document in the e-Repository, please contact the Library by email at repositori@upf.edu or by telephone at 93 542 17 27.

There are two ways of providing identification:

• UPF university community members must log in with the Global Campus account.
• External users must register using your e-mail account

By using the My account option, you can subscribe to new documents and also enter new ones if you are an authorized user.

You can subscribe to the notification service for new documents using RSS channels or receive notice of new documents by e-mail (through the option My account > Profile > E-mail subscriptions).
